In June, average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls increased by 6 cents to $23.50. Over the year, average hourly earnings have increased by 2.0 percent. Average hourly earnings of private-sector production and nonsupervisory employees increased by 5 cents to $19.74.
