∙ Connecticut Commissioner of Labor Resigns


”Governor Dannel P. Malloy today thanked Glenn Marshall for his service as the Commissioner of Connecticut’s Department of Labor (CTDOL). As has been reported, Commissioner Marshall submitted his resignation on June 29th citing family reasons.

“’I want to thank Glenn for his service to the people of Connecticut,” said Governor Malloy. “The Department of Labor has made significant progress over the last eighteen months with Glenn as Commissioner, and I wish him well on whatever opportunity comes next.’

”Deputy Commissioner Dennis Murphy has assumed the role of Acting Commissioner until a replacement is named. A search for a new DOL Commissioner will begin shortly.”
