“Learn how to meet OSHA’s Powered Industrial Truck Standard. OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.178 which requires formal instruction, practical training, and evaluation of operator performance to be completed and documented. "This 2-hour workshop will cover safe work practices, methods of providing formal and practical training, and tools for operator evaluation. "Written handout materials will be provided to use in the development of your site-specific training program. "All classes are free and are held at the Connecticut Department of Labor, 200 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, CT 06109, in Conference Room A. You must bring a photo ID with you on the day of the training or you will not be admitted to the building. "Pre-registration is required.
