National Safety Council releases traffic fatality estimates and safety tips for Labor Day weekend which begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 3: The NSC estimates 405 traffic fatalities and another 40,500 medically consulted injuries will occur over the traditional end-of-summer weekend from motor vehicle collisions.
