Compensation costs for civilian workers increased 0.3 percent, seasonally adjusted, for the 3-month
period ending March 2013, essentially unchanged from the 0.4 percent increase for the December 2012
3-month period.
Wages and salaries increased 0.5 percent for the current period compared to a 0.3 percent increase for the December 2012 period. Benefit costs decelerated to 0.1 percent in March 2013, down from 0.6 percent in December 2012. Chart is NSA. Click on chart to enlarge. Source: USDOL-BLS |
