• U.S. Construction Spending — December 2015

Construction spending during December 2015 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,116.6 billion, 0.1 percent (±1.2%) above the revised November estimate of $1,116.0 billion. The December figure is 8.2 percent (±1.8%) above the December 2014 estimate of $1,031.6 billion.

The value of construction in 2015 was $1,097.3 billion, 10.5 percent (±1.2%) above the $993.4 billion spent in 2014.

• U.S. Construction Spending — November 2015

Construction spending during November 2015 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,122.5 billion, 0.4 percent (±1.5%) below the revised October estimate of $1,127.0 billion. The November figure is 10.5 percent (±1.8%) above the November 2014 estimate of $1,016.1 billion.

During the first 11 months of this year, construction spending amounted to $1,011.9 billion, 10.7 percent (±1.2%) above the $913.9 billion for the same period in 2014.

Construction spending during October 2015 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,107.4 billion, 1.0 percent (±1.8%) above the revised September estimate of $1,096.6 billion. The October figure is 13.0 percent (±2.5%) above the October 2014 estimate of $979.6 billion.

During the first 10 months of this year, construction spending amounted to $888.1 billion, 10.7 percent (±1.3%) above the $802.3 billion for the same period in 2014.

Construction spending during September 2015 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,094.2 billion, 0.6 percent (±1.8%) above the revised August estimate of $1,087.5 billion. The September figure is 14.1 percent (±2.1%) above the September 2014 estimate of $959.2 billion.

During the first 9 months of this year, construction spending amounted to $786.6 billion, 10.5 percent (±1.3%) above the $711.8 billion for the same period in 2014.

During the first 8 months of this year, construction spending amounted to $683.4 billion, 9.8 percent (±1.3%) above the $622.4 billion for the same period in 2014.

Construction spending during April 2015 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1,006.1 billion, 2.2 percent (±1.5%) above the revised March estimate of $984.0 billion. The April figure is 4.8 percent (±2.0%) above the April 2014 estimate of $960.3 billion.

During the first 4 months of this year, construction spending amounted to $288.7 billion, 4.1 percent (±1.5%) above the $277.3 billion for the same period in 2014.

Construction spending during July 2013 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $900.8 billion, 0.6 percent (±2.0%) above the revised June estimate of $895.7 billion. The July figure is 5.2 percent (±2.1%) above the July 2012 estimate of $856.3 billion.

During the first 7 months of this year, construction spending amounted to $493.9 billion, 5.6 percent (±1.5%) above the $467.7 billion for the same period in 2012.

Construction spending during June 2013 was estimated at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $883.9 billion, 0.6 percent (±2.1%) below the revised May estimate of $889.4 billion. The June figure is 3.3 percent (±2.3%) above the June 2012 estimate of $855.8 billion.

During the first 6 months of this year, construction spending amounted to $408.5 billion, 5.1 percent (±1.5%) above the $388.8 billion for the same period in 2012.
